Multiple items were reported stolen from a central Salina business late last week.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning that sometime between 8 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, someone broke into Central Kansas Repair, 314 West Cloud Street. When employees arrived at the business Friday morning, they found the backdoor open and tools on the ground, he explained. The door had a broken window, he added. A shed to the north of the business had also been forced open.

Forrester noted that the following items were missing from the business.

An aluminum dolly

A couple chainsaws

An AC evacuation pump

A Stanley Pro bag of tools.

According to Forrester, total loss, including missing items and damage, was estimated at $1,380.
