Carl Michael Yost, 80, of Salina, passed away Saturday, December 24th, 2022.
Carl was born in Goodland, Kansas on September 29, 1942, a son of Louise (Davidson) and Frank Yost.
Carl served in the United States Air Force.
On November 29, 1988, Carl married Phyllis Brown in Minneapolis, Kansas.
He was a career truck driver and drove for Link Scientific. He drove an MRI machine to the hospitals in Kansas.
Carl and Phyllis developed the Prairie Ridge Housing Development.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis Yost of the home; two sons, Lonnie Brown, of Salina, Kansas, Mitch Brown (Rick), of Palm Beach, Florida; adoptive children Joe Yost and Susan Black; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Rob Haggarty (Mindy) and sister Jean Heap.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother James Burton, who passed recently; and 11 other siblings.
Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned at this time.
