Herbert B. Griggs, 72, Culver, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at his home.&nbsp; Herb was born September 23, 1948 in Ottawa County to Harvey and Claudia (White) Griggs.

He was a 1966 graduate of Tescott High School and he served during the Vietnam era in the United States Army.&nbsp; He and Bonnie Beichle were united in marriage on October 12, 1973.&nbsp; He worked track maintenance for the railroad for 37 years.

Herb was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife Bonnie; son Heath (Cara) Griggs; daughters Janette and Trisha Griggs; three grandchildren, Landyn, Navia, and Emma; sisters Connie (Nick) Conforti and Kim (Boyd) Volker; brothers-in-law, Larry (Sharon) Beichle and Jim Beichle; and sister-in-law, Mary Beichle.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 28 at Franklin Cemetery, Tescott.&nbsp; There will be no visitation.&nbsp; 

Memorials may be made to the Tescott American Legion Post #255 and may be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
