ELLSWORTH COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Friday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Freightliner semi driven by Robert R. Denton, 53, Lyons, was eastbound on Avenue V at 10th Road in Lorraine.
The driver failed to yield to southbound traffic and struck a 2020 Honda Pilot driven by Melissa J. Rolfs, 38, Lorraine.
EMS transported Rolfs to the hospital in Ellsworth. Denton was not injured. Two juveniles present in the Honda. Juvenile record protected data, according to the KHP.
