Chapman High senior selected for Cash Hollistah Scholarship

A senior from Chapman High School is the 2020-2021 recipient of the Cash Hollistah Scholarship.

Hollistah announced this morning that Noah Peck, Abilene, is the fifth "Hollistah Scholah."

A senior at Chapman High School, Peck has a 3.8 GPA. In addition to his studies, Peck participates in various community activities in his town, primarily volunteering at the Village Manor Nursing Home in Abilene. Peck has also traveled to Oklahoma and Kentucky, doing clean-up labor and working for the International Disaster Emergency Service.

A musician, Peck plays banjo, and performs with his worship team at Abilene First Christian Church.

Peck plans to attend Kansas State Polytechnic in the fall to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.

The Cash Hollistah Scholarship, presented by Ad Astra Books & Coffee House, is awarded to a graduating senior in central Kansas who shows merit in the field of community enrichment through, poetry, music, art or design. To learn more about the scholarship, go to thecashscholarship.org.
