Diantha (Dee) Lynn Christensen Borden Davis, passed away on March 10, 2022 in Salina, Kansas. She was born in Denver, CO in 1958 to Fenton Christensen and Veleda McCord. Both preceded her in death. Dee is survived by her Stepmother, Sharon Christensen of Saginaw TX; two children, Brandon Borden (Andra) of Killeen TX and Stacie Salazar (Tim Ramos) of Waco TX; sisters Linda Hinnenkamp (Jack) of Salina Ks, Kim Patten (Jeff Brough) of Albuquerque NM, Michelle Sides (Roger) of Fayetteville, AR, Candy Freeman (David) Saginaw, TX, and brothers Chris Christensen of Fayetteville AR, David Jones (Cindy Fiocca Bloom) of Manhattan, IL; Aunt and Uncle Bernice and Clyde Mynatt of Ft Myers FL; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews, 2 cousins and her cat, Toby.

Dee had many accomplishments in her life. She worked at Texas Instruments, was a hair stylist and a prison guard while living in Texas. She lived in Albuquerque, NM, for a time where she went to school for medical assisting and spent her last 11 years in Salina, KS. She loved music and sang and played piano for her church. She loved painting and was a great writer. She was smart and funny and loved by everyone she met. Dee was a tough little cookie and prevailed no matter what life threw at her. The many health challenges she faced over the last few years finally took her home to her eternal Father. She will be missed.

Dee’s final resting place will be beside her mother at Highland Cemetery in Winfield, KS. A private Celebration of Life was held in Salina.
