Richard Harvey, 83, of Salina, Kansas passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026.Richard was born in Salina, Kansas on February 15, 1943, to Hilda (Scott) and Earl Harvey.
Richard Harvey was a very good hearted person with a host of good friends where he resided on the island of Guam. He loved the outdoors, and was an Abbot Marathon Runner. Even gaining several 1st place medals. His last run was in 2018.
Survivors include sisters, Julia Allen of Salina, Shirley Hawkins of California; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his partner of 29 years, Dennis Byer; sisters Connie Gardner, Thelma Jean Harvey; and brothers, Scott Harvey, Warren Harvey, Harold Harvey, and Danny Harvey.
A memorial service will be held for Richard and Danny Harvey on April 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Baptist Church.Singing for Richard and Danny is a very beautiful Lady Teresa. A video in memory of Richard and Danny will also be played. The eulogy will be done by their nephew, Scott Gardner.
