RILEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after noon Monday in Riley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Ford F150 driven by David R. Annis, 69, Abilene, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of Frontage Road. The driver lost control due to weather conditions. The pickup spun out into the south ditch and struck a tree.
EMS transported Annis to the hospital in Manhattan. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
