The City of Salina Public Works Department has announced three roadway projects that are scheduled to begin Monday.
The projects are as follows.
●Replacement of a section of pavement on Albert Avenue west of Roach Street. Albert Avenue from Roach Street heading west to Norton Street will be closed to through traffic during the repairs. Weather permitting, the repairs are expected to be completed within five days.
●Grading of the edge of the roadway along both right-of-ways of W. Schilling Road from Foxboro Drive to Royal Drive. According to Public Works, W. Schilling Road will remain open but motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling in the active work area. Weather permitting, the grading is expected to be completed within two to three days.
●Replacement of a section of pavement on S. Ninth Street south of Washington Street. Southbound traffic on S. Ninth Street at W. South Street will be closed and detoured west on W. South Street. Northbound traffic on S. Ninth Street will not be affected during the repairs. Weather permitting, the repairs are expected to be completed within three days.
