Dorthy Mae Bohm, 100, of Salina, Kan., passed away Monday, February 28, 2022. She was born December 15, 1921, to Vernon and Gladys (Clifford) DeWitt in Crete, Neb.
Dorthy married Leonard Bohm on December 4, 1944 in Concordia, Kan. Over the years she worked for St. Joseph Hospital in Concordia, and St. John’s and Asbury Hospitals in Salina, retiring in 1984.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Leonard; five brothers; three sisters; and a grandson.
Survivors include her daughter Joyce Wakefield (David); son Roger Bohm (Judy); five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter; three great-great grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Visitation with family will precede the service beginning at 9 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Salina.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Cathedral or Sacred Heart Jr/Sr High School, in care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
