Linda Irene McDiffett, 75, of Junction City, passed away June 8, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center. She was born July 11, 1945 to Leonard Scott and Helen (Ziegler) McDiffett. She graduated from Alta Vista High School. Linda worked as a nurse’s aide for several years. She retired from Merry X-Ray Company as an office manager. She later relocated to Manhattan to be close to family.
Linda enjoyed traveling with her sister throughout the years. She loved her nieces and nephews and spending time with her family. Linda was a huge fan of the KC Chiefs and Royals.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Greg McDiffett and Scotty McDiffett, and sister-in-law Patti McDiffett.
She is survived by her sister Beverly Roeser, of Manhattan, brother Mickey McDiffett and wife Lori, of Alta Vista; 11 nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Deb McDiffett; uncle Virgil Ziegler and aunt Jan McDiffett.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 14, at Alta Vista Cemetery. Linda will lie in state prior to the service from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Sawyer Funeral Home.
