T-Birds' Lee, Glause named KJCCC Division II Softball All-Conference

CONCORDIA – Cloud County Community College softball players Kayla Lee and Taylor Glause have been named to the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II Softball All-Conference teams released on Friday.

Lee would earn first-team All-KJCCC honors for her performances throughout the season while Glause would be named an honorable mention All-KJCCC selection.

Finishing the year with the fourth-highest batting average of all KJCCC Division II softball players, Lee would appear in and start all 34 games for the T-Birds while finishing with a .482 batting average and 17 extra-base hits. The extra-base hits recorded by Lee would include five doubles, five triples, and seven home runs as the Kearney, Neb., native would drive in 25 runs and successfully steal 40 bases in 41 attempts.

Glause would appear in 35 contests for Cloud County start 34 while finishing as the lone other T-Bird to record a batting average above .400 by recording a .440 batting average and drive in a team-best 45 runs. Of Glause's 48 hits, 13 would be doubles to go along with one triple and five home runs as the Malcolm, Nebraska native recorded a .458 on-base percentage and threw out six base runners attempting to steal on the defensive side of things.
