Kenneth L. Weeks August 7th, 1928 - December 23rd, 2023

Kenneth L. Weeks of Abilene passed away December 23, 2023 at Chapman Valley Manor in Chapman, KS. Kenneth was born August 7, 1928 in White City Kansas to Clifford and Martha Weeks.

On October 23, 1964, Kenneth married Rettie McGee, and they made their home in Abilene. Kenneth worked in various trades, the longest being for Beech Aircraft as an aircraft assembly tech. After retirement he worked at Pioneer Farm and Ranch Supply in Abilene.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Rettie of the Home, Daughters Rettie Tilley and husband Robert of Reidsville North Carolina. Amy Horinek and husband Steve of Newkirk Oklahoma, and Roseann Ryan of Abilene. Sons Jerry Weeks and wife Zenaida of Crestwood Kentucky. He is also survived by a brother John Weeks and a sister Martha Mae Barrett. Kenneth was preceded in death by a son Kenneth Wayne Weeks, three sisters and one brother.

A memorial service will be held Thursday December 28th 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church 320 N. Cedar Ablene, Kansas with Pastor Lindsey Brummer Officiating. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and may be sent in care of the Martin-Becker-Carlson funeral home 414 NW 3rd Abilene, KS 67410
