Salina Education Foundation has awarded $28,000 in grant funds for projects commencing in the 2021-2022 school year.
The follow grant recipient’s projects were selected by a committee consisting of Salina Education Foundation Trustees.
Outside-The-Box grants are awarded to creative projects aimed at expanding students’ understanding of their community and the world. Outside-The-Box grant recipients and their projects are as follows.

21st Century Advantage grants are awarded to projects that support the classroom teacher in providing opportunities to enrich their students’ learning experiences and inspire creative and critical thinking. 21st Century Advantage grant recipients and their projects include the following.

Salina Education Foundation’s grants are funded through the generosity of donors from the community, including USD 305 teachers and staff, business partners, charitable foundations, and individuals committed to providing enhanced educational experiences for students.
Salina Education Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of trustees. Established in 1987, it endeavors to promote and support educational excellence by providing resources to enhance opportunities for the students and staff of Salina’s public schools
