Police are investigating the theft of a scooter from a central Salina residence Tuesday night.
Sometime between 9:30-10 p.m., someone stole a white 2019 Ice Bear TMZ 50 scooter with Kansas license plate 75CXG from a residence in the 500 block of E. Cloud Street, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.
The 19-year-old owner, who was visiting a friend, found out the scooter was missing when his mother called to ask where it was since he had taken his pickup to his friend's house, Forrester said.
The owner still had the keys to the scooter, which was valued at $1,600.
