
Below zero wind chills will affect the entire region this morning, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita.
Dress warmly and in layers to keep warm. Stay inside if you can and make sure your pets are warm and out of the weather.

We will have very cold temperatures again today with light snow possibly developing over southeast Kansas this afternoon, NWS noted. Light snow will continue tonight and could mix with freezing drizzle at times.
