A wind advisory is in effect for multiple counties in our area.

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a wind advisory in effect through 6 p.m. Friday for the following counties in our area.

Northwest winds of 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Small tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
