On Thursday, August 1, 2024, a woman was shopping in Walmart, 2900 South Ninth Street in Salina, when she was approached by two Hispanic males, who asked for help. While one of the males distracted her, the other male removed her wallet, which contained credit cards, from her purse.

The two suspects then went to Target, 2939 Market Place, Salina, Kansas, and entered the store separately.

The two then met up in the store. One of the suspects picked up a child’s dress and a Gatorade, while the second tried to purchase the items along with a $500 Target Gift Card and a $400 Target Gift Card using the victim’s stolen credit cards.
The suspects made three unsuccessful attempts to purchase the items before leaving the store without any items.
