A former Walmart employee was accused of stealing over $1,000 worth of items.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on April 12 in the afternoon, officers were dispatched to Walmart (2900 S 9th St) for the report of an employee allegedly stealing items over the course of a month and a half.

The Loss and Prevention department of Walmart told SPD, the employee stole various items that included food, furniture, storage containers, self-care and clothing.

Officers arrested Kayla Wall (23) and booked her into the Saline County Jail for the requested charges of&nbsp;Felony Theft and Misdemeanor Theft.
