 Ronald Fetter, 81, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025.  He was born July 3, 1943 to Claude and Doris (Simpson) Fetter in Larned, KS.

Ron graduated from Macksville High School in 1961 and proudly served in the US Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968.  He met Barbara Conyers and they were married August 26, 1972 in Greensburg, KS.  They settled in Salina where Ron worked for 37 years at Long McArthur Ford in the parts department.

Outside of work he played slow pitch softball and was a bowler.  In his later years, Ron enjoyed golfing and made many friends at the course.  He was always ready to work a crossword puzzle and was an avid KU, Kansas City Chiefs and KC Royals fan.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, brother, nephew, in-laws and brother-in-law.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara; sister, Peggy Tillett (Rick); sisters-in-law, Joan Fetter and Carladyne Conyers; and many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members. 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025.  Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 25th all at Ryan Mortuary.  Burial will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
