Shalimar Shepherds this weekend; Georgetown Santas next week

It's almost time for the Shalimar Shepherds and the Georgetown Santas!

The Shalimar Shepherds Live Nativity is scheduled for 6:30-9 p.m. Friday through Sunday in the 2200 block of Shalimar Drive in south Salina.

The event is open to the public at no charge, however, any donations collected will go to Salina Guns & Hoses.

"We will have live Nativity with animals. Take your pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who, and Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, Shepherds, and Wisemen," the Shalimar Shepherds noted on their Facebook page.

Georgetown Santas

The annual Georgetown Santas event is scheduled for 6:30-9 p.m. Dec. 21-23 at 2312 Georgetown Road in east Salina.

Now in their 24th year, the Georgetown Santas will once again be sharing Christmas cheer, and some candy and popcorn, in this drive-through Christmas display experience, according to information on the Georgetown Santas Facebook page.
