Cooler weather is on the way.
A strong cold front is expected to sweep east across the state on Monday, bringing cooler temperatures in the afternoon to central Kansas, according to the National Weather Service. It will remain unseasonably warm in south central and eastern Kansas.
A few strong to severe storms will be possible in far eastern Kansas in the late afternoon.
