FALUN - Jelene “Bean” Mattison, 60, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020, peacefully at home. She was born February 9, 1960, to Jerry and Joan (Seyler) Runnells in Ottawa, Kansas.
Bean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren, especially her youngest grandson Brenden, could brighten even her darkest of days!
Bean was preceded in death by mother Joan (Seyler) Runnells, brother Joel Runnells and son-in-law Billy Toothman. She is survived by father, Jerry Runnells; husband, Terry Mattison; two sisters, Judy (Bruce) Chapman and Jerelyn Runnells; children, Crystal Hopkins Toothman and Charles (Khalene) Hopkins; grandchildren, Skyler, Chase, Ryan, Taysia, De’Sean, Ayden, Meadow and Brenden; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held Saturday May 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Falun Cemetery. The family requests casual attire.
