The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a severe thunderstorm warning that includes southwestern Lincoln County and northwestern Ellsworth County until 5:45 p.m.
At 4:57 p.m. CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Dorrance, or 9 miles west of Wilson, moving east at 25 mph. Another severe storm was located on Interstate 70 in north central Ellsworth County, moving north-northeast at 15 mph.
Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
