Life sketch Taken from the Funeral Bulletin

Dorothy J. Fredrickson (Will) was born in Herrington, KS, the youngest daughter of Albert and Lydia Will (Strauss) on April 27, 1944.

She married John M. Fredrickson on December 31, 1963.

Dorothy was a care-giver her whole life. She was in foster care for 10+ years and was a babysitter for many years before working as a CNA at St Luke for 27 years.

She is survived by her son Marty (Terri) of Marion, KS; Mike (Cassandra) of Bolivar, MO and Margo of Marion, KS. She is also survived by her grandchildren Caleb, Felicity, Jacob, Jennifer, Jessica, Laura, Lydia, Mikaela, Natalie, Noah and great-grandchildren Aiden, Averi, Carol, Denton, Eldon, Eli, Greyson F., Greyson S., Jasper, Kaden, Kinser, Ravyn, Robbe, Samuel, Tucker and Wesley.

Mother, grandmother, confidant, keeper of darkest secrets, co-worker, babysitter, and advisor in all things, shoulder to cry on, best friend and hardest worker you’d ever know. She devoted her whole life to taking care of others. Now you have a new title - guardian angel. Grandma loved all of those around her deeply. She holds a grand legacy that will live on for generations. The world was a better place for Grandma “Fred” being here and she will be missed beyond what words can explain. As grandma would say “I love you, Huunny.”
