Canton - Alan Overton, 77, passed away April 18, 2021 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born February 22, 1944 in Colby, Kansas to Arlie and Maudie (Smith) Overton. He married Mary Wolf August 16, 1965 in Colby, Kansas.
Survivors include: sons Arlie (Gina) Overton of Marion, Keith (Erica) Overton of Knoxville, TN, A.J. (Amanda) Overton of Halstead; daughters Brenda (Don) Stovall of Halstead, Cathy (Dean) Keyes of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Mary Overton in 2015.
Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Spring Valley Mennonite Church of rural Canton. Public viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Thursday. Interment at Spring Valley Church cemetery.
