The Southeast of Saline Lady Trojan basketball team picks up one of their most dominant wins of the year with a wire-to-wire 49-18 victory over the Abilene Cowgirls.

With this win SES has won six of their last eight games and is now 7-5 on the year, while Abilene falls to 2-8.

The Lady Trojans were led by a monster night from Alaina Yianakopulos, who finished the evening with a career high 22 points including 11 of the team's 15 in the first quarter.

Southeast also picked up 13 points from Karsyn Schlesener, as the duo joined five other girls in the scoring column.

Abbi Lillard was able to muster 12 points in the losing effort, but struggled to find much help as the Trojans allowed just four Cowgirls to score all night for a dismal 18 points.

At one point, SES led by as many as 31 points, forcing Abilene into 21 turnovers and allowing them just 15 shots from the line.

The Lady Trojans will be back in action on Friday when they host the 2-9 Ellsworth Bearcats in what should be an excellent opportunity to continue building on their run.
