NWS offers temp, precipitation outlook through mid-July

No big heat waves are expected through at least mid July across the Kansas region, with near to below normal temperatures favored July 8  through 16th.

Typical daytime highs this time of year are in the low to mid 90s, and typical overnight lows are in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.

As far as rainfall goes, the signal is more mixed through mid July.

Much of the state favors near to below normal rainfall July 8 through 16, with the exception of far southeast Kansas possibly favoring above normal rainfall.
