Agenda items
County Administrator Phillip Smith-Hanes is scheduled to present the county's quarterly budget update during Tuesday's meeting.
"For the General Fund, revenues are down slightly (both in dollar figures and as a percentage of budget) compared to 2021, while expenditures are up. However, current figures are very comparable to what was experienced through the first half of 2020 and not indicative of a cause for concern. On the revenue side, sales tax receipts continue to come in much higher than anticipated and interest income has improved, while delinquent property tax receipts and Register of Deeds fees have slowed down," according to information in the commission meeting packet.
Other items on the Saline County Commission agenda for Tuesday include the following.
●Hear County Engineer Justin Mader's update
●Hear Smith-Hanes' update
