Adelphia Jeane Lobban, 95, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021.
Delphie was born in McPherson, Kansas on April 21, 1926, daughter of the late Anna Katarina (Long) and Adolph Borgstrom.
She attended Andover Grade School in Windom, Kansas, three years at Windom High School, one year at Inman High School and graduated in 1944. She attended McPherson College and Bethany College. She was an elementary school teacher for one year at Groveland Center, five years at Hayes Center, one year at Prairie Vista and two years at Fairplay Elementary Schools.
On April 9, 1954, Delphie married Ivan Lobban.
Survivors include her husband Ivan Lobban; sons Laine Lobban (Leslie) of Monument, Colorado, Lance Lobban of Norman, Oklahoma; daughters Ann Newcomer (Dave) of Salina, Kansas, Lindi Fahrenthold (Scott) of Solomon, Kansas; Leesa Krehbiel (David) of Ooltewah, Tennessee; grandchildren Ben Lobban (Jordynn), Carolyn Lobban (Tyler), Kirk Lobban, Sarah Lobban (Drew), Hannah Lobban, Mia Lobban (Ronnie), Nara Newcomer, Jenna Seidel (James), Russ Newcomer (Diane), Rachel Eufinger (Myles), Hannah Fahrenthold, Jessica Fahrenthold, Katrina Fahrenthold, Andy Krehbiel (Megan), Amanda Nadri (Souheil); and great-grandchildren Preston, Tatum, Solana, Enoch, John, and Wyatt.
She is preceded in death by three sisters, Amaryllis Nyquist, June Lindholm, Loraine Wills; and one brother, Valerian Borgstrom.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 15 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, Kansas, with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021, at Andover Lutheran Church in Windom. Burial will follow at Andover Lutheran Church Cemetery, in Windom, Kansas.
