Saline County law enforcement is suspecting two separate burglaries are connected.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office on May 22, a 71-year old female victim reported a burglary to have occurred between 11:30 am and 7:00 pm.
Reportedly, the victim indicated she left her home in northwest Saline County and discovered someone had entered upon returning.
She discovered several items damaged and out of place.
The Sheriff's Office is unsure if anything was stolen.
Moreover, a 53-year old male of Bennington who owns property in the same area, had reported that a detached garage had been broken into and several items rummaged around.
No suspects were located at both residences.
The investigation is ongoing.
