You still have time to participate in virtual Tutu Fun Run

Posted Sep 17, 2020 11:25 AM

You still have time to get your tutu on and help out a couple of local organizations.

The Tamara Howe School of Dance along with the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank are hosting a virtual 2.2-mile Tutu Fun Run.

The fun run supports the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank in addition to student scholarships at the Tamara Howe School of Dance.

Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite tutu of choice, print out the race bib and run, walk, chasse, or gallop their way through 2.2 miles.  This family friendly event is a great way to stay community focused while enjoying the beautiful Kansas weather.  The fun run continues through Tuesday.  All participants will be entered into a drawing for some wonderful downtown Salina prizes!

The Virtual 2.2-Mile Fun Run is open to children ($12) and adults ($22).  Participants may register at: https://runsignup.com/Race/KS/Salina/THSDTutuFunRun

Post a picture tagging #TutuFunRun , #thsdsalina and #salinafoodbank to be entered to win the fun prizes!
