A man accused of being under the influence made a threat to a resident before his arrest.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD), on July 25 at around 2:40 pm, a male individual walking in the 600 block of Jaran discovered a man, identified as Adam Ruehlen (37), yelling near a residence.
Ruehlen reportedly told the individual he was going to kill and send his dogs to attack the man.
Afterwards, Ruehlen drove away on a moped and officers located him to at CVS Pharmacy on Ohio Street.
Officers arrived and found Ruehlen, as they determined he was possibly under the influence of alcohol. Officers arrested and booked him in reference to Criminal threat, DUI, Driving while suspended and Improper registration of a vehicle.
