The grandkids looked forward to visiting grandma and enjoying her homemade chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls with “white mustard” aka cream cheese frosting.
She liked to fish and on many Sunday summer evenings, took her children fishing at nearby farm ponds. Kathleen loved to mow the lawn and garden.
She was an accomplished seamstress and made many of her children’s clothes when they were young. She also loved to quilt and embroider many tea towels and pillow cases.
