Elizabeth Mary Light, 94, of Salina, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020. She was born December 28, 1925 in Tampa, Fla.

Elizabeth met her husband, Cecil E. Light, at an NCO club while he was serving in the Air Force. To this union two sons were born, Steven and Paul E. Light. She volunteered for many years at the blood mobile and local Election Board, was past president of the Salina VFW Woman's Auxiliary and the Waiting Wives. Elizabeth liked to crochet and knit, and especially to cook and host dinner parties.

She is survived by her son, Paul (Loretta); grandchildren, Steven James Light and Lisa Ann Light-Stiles (Glen); and great-grandchildren, Christopher Stiles and Austin Coleman.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Mary Ann (Wolfe) Boatwright; son, Steven M. Light; and grandson, Jeffrey Allen Light.

No services are planned at this time. Burial will be in the Ft. Riley Post Veterans' Cemetery, Ft. Riley, Kan.
