Salina law enforcement are investigating an incident, where gunshots were fired at a neighborhood.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Sunday at around 4:00 am, officers received report about gunshots being fired in the area of Haskett and Willis.

Officers arrived and did not locate any evidence of gunshots being fired in the area.

However at around 7:00 am that same day, officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Kiowa (near Haskett and Willis) where a resident reported their vehicle had a bullet on the passenger side.

Furthermore, a bullet hole was located in the garage wall of the residence.

There were no reported injuries.

Upon search of surveillance video, officers were able to identify two possible suspect vehicles connected to the shooting.

Reportedly, the first vehicle officers located was a Dodge Challenger and interviewed a male driver at about 8:45 am. They discovered a bullet was on his vehicle as well.

The driver admitted he got into an argument with a known associate when shots were then fired.

Several hours later, the second suspect vehicle was located and has been seized for a search warrant.

SPD stated they are not giving any more information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
