Members of Let's Restore Humanity plan to gather Thursday for a peace rally in support of Ukraine.
The group is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the corner of S. Broadway Boulevard and W. Republic Avenue. They will be demonstrating peace and anti-war sentiments. Members of the public are invited to participate.
"Please bring your signs of support and equality flags to walk with them to Sunset Park for some family fun," organizer Miranda Bachman encouraged.
The group plans to college donated care packages containing items such as first aid, personal hygiene products, and powdered laundry detergent, as well as monetary donations for Ukrainian refugees, Bachman noted in a news release.
Additionally, to-go dinner plates will be provided for the public.
