A small earthquake rattled the area to the west of the Southeast of Saline campus earlier this evening.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a magnitude 2 quake struck at 6:49 p.m. Wednesday just south of Kansas Highway 4 between South Cunningham Road and South Niles Road.
