Quinn B. Trapp
November 5, 1962 ~ February 8, 2024

Quinn’s life began November 5, 1962, in Herington. He is the son of James and Wanda (Martin) Trapp. Quinn was a 1981 graduate of Herington High School. He was united in marriage to Julie (Harbison) on May 25, 1996, at the Florence United Methodist Church. Quinn was a Master Plumber, owning and operating Trapp’s Plumbing and Well Service for 23 years, until he sold the business to Suffield Plumbing and continued to work for the new company. He later went to work for USD 408 coordinating transportation and maintenance throughout the school district. Quinn was a founding member of Marion Duck’s Unlimited in 2000, loved the outdoors, cooking, and Marion County Lake. He enjoyed his daily rides around the lake with his dogs. He was a member of the Marion Christian Church. 

Quinn is survived by his wife Julie of Marion; sons Laramie (Megan) Trapp of St. George, KS, Jordan (Jessica) Trapp of Hillsboro, and Adam (Linzey) Trapp of McPherson; grandchildren Reagan, Rylee, Harlow, Paisyn and Braizlyn; sister in law Rose Bina (Greg) of Lee Summit, MO, brother Mike (Christine) Trapp of Herington, sister Debbie (David) Beam of Herington, his aunt Hazel Wendt of Council Grove; mother-in-law Arlene (Steve) Hysom, father-in-law John Harbison; brother-in-law John (Laura) Harbison III, sister-in-law Lisa (Don) Schindler, sister-in-law Ashley (Mat) Minton, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Greg Trapp and grandson Judsyn Trapp.

Quinn passed away on Thursday February 8, 2024, at his home. His family will gather with friends on Thursday February 15, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Marion. His memorial service will be held on Friday February 16, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Marion Christian Church led by Pastor Carl Helm.
