Season tickets for Salina's only indoor professional football league team, Salina Liberty, are now on sale. Season and single game tickets are on sale through the Tony's Pizza Events Center Box Office, www.tonyspizzaeventscenter.com, (785) 826-7200.
Salina Liberty's head coach is Heron O'Neil. This season is his sixth season with the Salina Liberty. O'Neil led Salina Liberty to the 2022 championship. He is the second winningest coach in the Champions Indoor Football league.
Spectators who haven't witnessed indoor football, should prepare for an action packed thrill ride said Salina Liberty team owner, Dan Mendicina.
"Indoor football is exhilarating, and definitely more fast paced than outdoor football," Mendicina said. "When you attend one of the Salina Liberty games you will feel like you're on the field itself, it is that action packed and fun to watch."
