Morris Eugene Henry, 82, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, KS.

Morris was born on September 26, 1941 in Salina, KS to parents Edward Eugene and Geraldine Irene (Shelton) Henry.

Morris retired as a Supervisor for the City of Salina Water Department.

Morris had been a former Saline County Sheriff’s Reserve Deputy and participated in various pistol shoots including the KPOA Bullseye Shoot. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. Morris was a lifetime member of the NRA and the Quivira Gun Club where he taught women’s pistol self defense.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Morris is survived by his wife Carrolyn Rose Henry (Miller); Children Troy Henry, Todd Henry and spouse Charlene, Travis Henry and spouse Nell; Others: Zach Henry (Grandson), Zane Henry (Grandson), Tempest Henry (Granddaughter), Breanna Chaput (Granddaughter), DJ Chaput (Granddaughter), Belle Henry (Granddaughter), Gabby Henry (Granddaughter), Sage Davison (Great-Granddaughter), Lakelynn Smith (Great-Granddaughter), Judy Cravey (Sister), Susan Lee (Sister) and spouse Bill, Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 5 - 7 PM at Roselawn Memorial Heights Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford Salina, KS 67401. Graveside Services will be on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
