Join Dr. Benjamin Reed as he opens up the world of the Kansas state reptile, the ornate box turtle. He’ll discuss its history and uses, its importance and place in the Kansas ecosystem, including range, movement, behavior and more. He’ll also share the threats they face and what we can do about it. Reed earned his PhD from the University of Nebraska and now teaches at Washburn University.
