Terry V. Rhodenbaugh, age 71, of New Cambria, passed away October 4, 2021, with his family by his side.
He shared 38 years of his life with Julia Rhodenbaugh. He was preceded in death by his parents Duane and Helen Rhodenbaugh, brother Denny, and son Jamie.
Terry served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1967 to 1973 as a sergeant. He was a decorated veteran who served a tour in the Vietnam War and was recognized for the following honors: combat action ribbon, good conduct medal, national defense service medal, Vietnam service medal, Vietnam campaign medal.
Earning money and providing for himself and his family was a priority for him. He began working at 13, doing various tasks. His later career was a construction/concrete finisher for others and then he ventured out and began working for himself.
His favorite past times were golf, fishing, hunting, and being with friends and family. Candy Crush became an addiction in his later years; we were all very concerned. He was famous for picking on you whenever the opportunity presented itself, especially with Julia and kids as the main victims. He was an avid storyteller and aggressive cheater at rummy.
