SALINE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a violent weekend.
On September 5, a woman reported two incidents which occurred during the weekend of August 29, at a central Salina residence, according to Salina Police Captain James Feldman.
The woman reported that a known associate, later identified as 45-year-old Clayton Sowers, had intercourse without her consent. She also reported a day later she and Sowers got into an argument when Sowers grabbed her threw her to the ground.
Police located Sowers and he was taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Saline County Jai where he remain on requested charge of Rape, Domestic Battery, and Criminal Restraint.
