Michael Wayne Gotti, age 74, of Tescott, Kansas, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 25, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on September 18, 1951, in Salina, Kansas, to Carl and Mary (Smith) Gotti.
Mike was united in marriage to Jenny Young in 1972, and together they built a life full of love, hard work, and family. He graduated from Tescott High School in 1970 and went on to become a lifelong farmer and rancher. Mike also had a successful career at Philips Lighting before his retirement.In his free time, Mike had a deep passion for vintage cars and motorcycles. He was also a devoted grandfather, frequently attending his grandchildren's activities and cherishing every moment spent with them. Mike had a playful spirit, often bringing laughter to family and friends with his witty sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jenny; three sons, Joe (Randi) Gotti, Story Gotti, and Michael Gotti; daughter Jean (Mark) Still; his siblings, Joe (Heather) Gotti, Sandra Gotti, and Dorinda (Jason) Pace; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Gotti; mother, Mary Machaulda; and his brother, Gail Gotti.
The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Wilson Family Funeral Home,405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467. A rosary and vigil service will begin at 5:00 P.M. Private funeral mass for family will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at a later date. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Mike’s honor to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Mike will be dearly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
