It's been sunny and dry for much of the week, but chances for rain increase with the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, there will be increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms this weekend, beginning Friday evening. A few isolated strong to severe storms will be possible on Saturday, NWS noted.
