Beginning Monday, November 4 in the 1000 Block of East Iron Avenue, the south sidewalk and bike lane will be closed due to a new water service line being installed. The sidewalk will be closed on the south side of E. Iron Ave between Kansas Ave &amp; N. Ohio Street.

 Pedestrians will be detoured to utilize the north sidewalk in that location with crosswalks located at the intersections of Kansas Ave &amp; E. Iron Ave, or N. Ohio St &amp; Iron Ave. Access to adjacent properties will be maintained. Work is expected to last two weeks and be completed by November 15, 2024, weather permitting.

Motorists may encounter minor delays and are encouraged to find alternate routes.
