ABILENE - The Memorial Health System Volunteer Corps (MHSVC) recently purchased a Scifit REX Recumbent Elliptical full body exercise machine for the respiratory care and cardiac rehabilitation departments at Memorial Hospital through the volunteers’ annual gifting program.

“This is a great addition to our program, as it will allow for us to serve more patients and provide a more varied program to all of our least mobile patients,” said Respiratory Therapy Manager Matt Mead.

The MHSVC holds several fundraisers each year to raise money to support and enhance services within the health system’s many departments.
