An investigation is ongoing after over $7,000 worth of work tools were stolen from rural Saline County.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office, a burglary occurred on June 4 at approximately 12:24 pm in rural Saline County, near N. Hedville Road.
The burglary occurred sometime between May 31 at 4:00 pm and June 3 at 2:30 pm.
A 63-year-old male of Salina reported that his detached garage had been forced open.
Reported missing was various drills, hand tools and a Portamix Hippo Mixer that itself was valued $4,200.
Total loss was valued at $7,988.
There are no possible suspects at this time.
