A $2,000 trailer was stolen from a local business late last week.
Saline County Undersheriff Brent Melander said this morning that sometime between Thursday and Saturday, someone stole a seven-foot by 16-foot homemade car trailer from Crestwood, Inc., 601 East Water Well Road. The trailer is described as being black with a wooden deck and two metal ramps on the back, and is valued at $2,000, he said. The trailer does not have a tag, he added.
The theft was reported Tuesday. Melander said that investigators are following up to see whether surveillance video is available.
